Internal Technical Governance Committee
DigiTools UK maintains an internal engineering oversight and architecture review committee (ITGC) responsible for system security, concurrency control, payment gateway change approvals, datacenter infrastructure technical evaluations, and operational resilience.
Statutory Disclaimer & Organizational Scope
The Internal Technical Governance Committee (ITGC) is strictly an internal engineering, systems architecture, and technical risk-management committee established within DigiTools UK. It is not a statutory UK Board of Directors under the Companies Act 2006, nor is it an independent statutory regulator, external accreditation institution, or official licensing body. Committee decisions represent operational engineering standards, architectural benchmarks, and internal compliance controls designed to protect service integrity and customer privacy.
What the ITGC Governs
Five core technical pillars governed by committee review before code deployment.
Software Architecture & Modularity
Auditing route groups, separating storefront from administrative interfaces, ensuring zero cross-context leaks, and maintaining clean separation of concerns.
Payment Rail Allowlist & Concurrency
Enforcing strict backend allowlists so only verified payment methods can be initiated. Mandating atomic conditional database transactions to eliminate financial double-spending.
Infrastructure & VPS Sourcing
Evaluating enterprise datacenter infrastructure, auditing factual hardware specifications (vCPU cores, RAM, NVMe RAID arrays, network uplinks), and maintaining straightforward monthly billing policies.
Information Security & Encryption
Mandating TLS 1.3 transport encryption, timing-safe cryptographic comparisons on automated cron secrets, and strict tokenization for all third-party integrations.
Production Log Hygiene & Privacy
Masking customer account credentials and OTPs from production stdout, and ensuring customer account data is handled in compliance with UK data protection principles.
Incident Response & SLAs
Establishing honest customer expectations without exaggerated 99.999% SLA marketing claims, managing replacement warranty tickets, and enforcing rapid issue mitigation.
Functional Governance Roles
Roles are designated by technical function and operational responsibility, avoiding fabricated staff titles.
Principal Systems Architect
Committee Chair & Systems Engineering
App Router modularity, Next.js Turbopack runtime performance, Prisma PostgreSQL schema integrity, and database connection pooling.
Lead Cryptography & Security Engineer
Security & Vulnerability Control
TLS 1.3 256-bit cryptographic transit, timing-safe authorization tokens, API credential protection, and defense against brute-force attacks.
Payments & Treasury Infrastructure Lead
Financial Ledger & Concurrency Oversight
Atomic conditional wallet balance decrements, webhook idempotency keys, payment rail allowlists, and double-spending prevention.
Cloud & Datacenter Operations Lead
Infrastructure & Datacenter Evaluation
VPS hosting technical verification, datacenter facility terms review, network uplink measurement, and pre-order reservation workflows.
Data Privacy & Compliance Coordinator
Log Hygiene & Customer Protection
Masking sensitive customer account information in production logs, GDPR data minimization, and incident response orchestration.
Recent Technical Governance Decisions
Record of technical policy reviews and system audits enacted by the ITGC.
Financial Concurrency & Atomic Decrements Audit
Remediated database race conditions by enforcing database-level conditional decrements (gte: totalPKR) in Prisma transactions, eliminating negative wallet balance overdraws.
Payment Allowlist Policy & Gateway Freeze
Restricted active payment initiation strictly to verified on-chain cryptocurrency rails: USDT (TRC20) and USDT (BEP20). Binance Pay, card processing, digital wallets, and regional bank rails remain in Coming Soon status pending compliance and merchant key ratification.
Regional VPS Hosting Sourcing & Technical Specification Framework
Standardized regional cloud specifications across 16 plans in USA (Dallas), UK (London), and Pakistan (Lahore) with direct month-to-month pricing, non-payment technical reservation queues, and strict provisioning pre-approval gates.
Production Log Hygiene & Masked Output Standard
Enforced production redaction of customer account passwords and OTPs from system logs, protecting customer privacy and credentials at rest and in transit.
